DGH #8, Salida

Our latest expansion involved a huge down-to-the-studs remodel. We took a depressed facility in a residential area whose former residents were unsupervised and wreaking some 'light havoc' on the neighborhood (we heard many stories...), and turned it into an absolute jewel in this community. We added two full additional wings and multiple manicured outside spaces (multiple smoking and non-smoking areas) to create our flagship 80-bed RCFE. It really is a fully customized, one of a kind home.

As an RCFE, the pace of this large facility is naturally slower than our Hatch homes. But with a massive supporting staff and leadership expertise at the helm, Salida is engaging and fun for our aging population. At Davis Guest Home, we consider our residents as part of our own family. Aging-out of an ARF shouldn't mean that you have to leave your home, and Salida offers many of our long-term residents the opportunity to continue care while under our watch.

Our massive picnic area hosts many parties and BBQs, and spacious covered patios allow for folks to enjoy the outside areas year-round.
