Now who doesn't enjoy a good meal? Our residents certainly do. The food service at Davis Guest Home is restaurant-quality and up to the challenge! We go to great ends to ensure that our clients eat at least as well as we do, and often, they eat better.

Our seasonal menus reflect the creativity of our food-service professionals, and are aided by the ingenuity of our wider staff who contribute with their frequent new ideas to keep the menu fresh and varied in our scratch-kitchens... No heat-and-serve products allowed. We also cater to the various dietary needs of individuals, making sure that everyone gets to take part and is represented in our planning and execution.

Residents are served their meals by staff while they are seated at the table (we don't do lines here). Their order is taken, and brought to them in-place. If they don't prefer what's on the menu, there is always a delicious alternative option as well. The food-service of Davis Guest Home is maybe one of the most apparent ways that we demonstrate to our clients that we care for them, and for their well-being.

A couple of DGH secrets that we'll let you in on. Garnishes for each meal are thoughtfully planned by cooks while plating and presentation is scrutinized. Every meal is tasted by managers (and cooks) prior to service. Managers also photograph the food and administrators review presentation of each meal in order to uphold high standards. We understand that people eat with their eyes first, and we aim to please!

And...We Make Holidays Really Special.
Christmas lights and tinseled trees cast their soft light around our homes, the aroma of fresh (whole) turkeys and hams roasting in ovens while homemade pies cool on countertops, and flags flying high! Holidays are a big deal at Davis Guest Home.
We make certain that important moments don't get missed. Mother's Day? We've got you, Mom. Easter? You'll find us outside on an egg hunt, or enjoying special seasonal snacks. And we never forget a Birthday.
You Pinterest at home for ideas? We use it here to spice up our plans too. We decorate, celebrate, 'theme' our parties, dress up and play games (Halloween... so fun!), and we enjoy each other... Like a family does.

Unfortunately, due to privacy regulations we can't show you all of the smiles and laughter that this creates, which is the best part of the whole deal. But add some imagination and you can understand how a Christmas gift, a beautiful meal and thoughtfulness warms the hearts of all our residents.
