DGH #4, Ohio
Each Davis Guest Home facility has it's own specific vibe, and Ohio is no exception. When Lonny purchased this facility in the late '90's, he really wanted to name it Uncle Lonny's House of Funk (catchy, right?), but a few folks talked him out of it. To this day, after extensive remodeling and a venerable redwood forest having been planted in the garden exterior, it still retains its beautiful ambiance. Less 'funk' though, and more 'peaceful'.
Ohio is a 34-bed ARF that includes multiple common areas, a pool table, and one private room. Outside, it also features a large (and clean!) pool complete with lounge area that is well-used in the summertime, a volleyball court, farm animals, a fire pit, and a large gazebo BBQ area. Ample outside space is present here, and just like in the home, there is room for folks to spread out, relax, and enjoy themselves.
